Set in a dystopian world 40 years in the future, Ernst Cline’s magnus opus, Ready Player One, captivated readers when it was first released as a novel, and a few years later when it came to the big screen. If you thought the Steven Spielberg directed blockbuster was the last instalment in the franchise, you’ll be surprised to find that Mark Zuckerberg is directing the sequel and he’s calling it the metaverse.
